What is the Point-in-Time Count?
Once a year, communities across the country conduct a “Point-in-Time Count” to better understand how many people in our area are currently experiencing homelessness. Volunteers help locate, meet, and countt our unhoused neighbors so we can gather accurate information. Learn more.
Why it matters
This count directly affects funding, services, and resources available in Cabarrus County. Better data means better support for shelters, outreach programs, housing, and mental health services.
